At 10:20 AM, the ANZAC March will commence from LUSC to the Cenotaph at Laurie Park, followed by the Main Service at 11:00 AM. It’s a time to come together as a community and show our respect for those who have served and sacrificed for our country. After the services, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, there will be the traditional game of Two-Up, a chance to participate in a piece of Australian history. For your convenience, a courtesy bus will be available all day, ensuring that everyone can easily attend the events. And to keep you fueled throughout the day, indulge in the $25 Beer & Beef Burger Special, available for both lunch and dinner at the club. Let’s unite in remembrance on this special day. In this role, you will be working three days a week, providing transportation services for club members and guests. A Responsible-Service-of-Alcohol (RSA) certificate is a mandatory requirement for this role. This morning was quite busy as we worked on laying turf on the 3rd tee. I had a lot of help from Jim and Tony, and I really appreciated their assistance. It made the whole process much easier having some extra hands on deck. The turf is coming along nicely and I can’t wait to see the final result. Working together with a team always makes the job more enjoyable and efficient.

The devastating fire that destroyed the beloved Laurieton Fisherman’s Co-op has left the community reeling. The Co-op, a cherished icon of the Mid North Coast, has been a vital part of the region for close to 50 years. Supporting local fishers and serving up exceptional seafood, it has been a cornerstone of the community. To show our support for the Co-op and Laurieton Seafoods, a fundraising event is being held tonight at LUSC South Tarcoola from 6PM.
