The Jetty Café & Cocktail Bar Launch Event at Laurieton Services Club

Welcome to a new era at Laurieton United Services Club with the grand unveiling of The Jetty Café & Cocktail Bar! On Thursday, 18th September 2025, the Club proudly showcased its stunning new downstairs area in a very special Launch Event that marked a significant milestone.

The Celebration

The afternoon was a joyous occasion filled with celebrations of resilience and community. The event kicked off with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by heartfelt speeches that emphasised the importance of this new space. Guests were treated to a showcase of the delectable food and beverages that are set to become favourites among members and visitors alike.

A Community Affair

The launch event was graced by the presence of esteemed guests, including Mayor Adam Roberts, State M.P Robert Dwyer, Federal Member Alison Penfold, the dedicated builders and developers, the Board of Directors, and representatives from the beloved Sub-Clubs. A special acknowledgment was made to the Club’s new General Manager, Matt Haack, for his exceptional leadership in overseeing the successful completion of this transformative project.

This revitalisation project holds a special place in the hearts of all involved. The resurrection of the once-affected space following the 2021 floods stands as a testament to the vision and dedication of the talented builders, developers, and architects who breathed new life into it. Their unwavering commitment to the community’s well-being and the Club’s future is truly commendable.
