September 30, 2025

The Jetty Café & Cocktail Bar Launch Event

Laurieton United Services Club proudly unveiled its stunning new downstairs area, The Jetty Café & Cocktail Bar, on Thursday, 18th September 2025. The Launch Event was a celebration of resilience and community, marking a significant milestone for the Club.

Celebrating Resilience and Community

The afternoon event featured an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, speeches, and a showcase of the delectable food and beverages that will soon delight Club members and guests. The space, previously devastated by the 2021 floods, has been reimagined and revitalised, thanks to the dedication of builders, developers, and architects.

We were honoured to have esteemed guests such as Mayor Adam Roberts, State M.P Robert Dwyer, Federal Member Alison Penfold, the Club’s Board of Directors, and representatives from the beloved Sub-Clubs in attendance. Special recognition was given to General Manager Matt Haack for his exceptional leadership in overseeing the project’s completion and success.

A Symbol of Renewal and Community Spirit

The Jetty is more than just a café and cocktail bar; it stands as a symbol of renewal, community spirit, and the exciting future of Laurieton United Services Club. The Club is thrilled to open this beautiful space to the public, inviting all to experience the ambiance and offerings firsthand.

Stay tuned for updates on the official opening to the public and be part of this new era at Laurieton United Services Club!
