The maintenance team recently added five bird nesting boxes and one possum box throughout the golf course in an effort to attract more native wildlife to the area. These boxes were generously donated to the club and will provide a safe and welcoming habitat for local birds and possums. This initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the local ecosystem and promoting biodiversity on the course. We’re excited to see more wildlife making themselves at home in these new nesting spots.

The Bridge, also known as Pipes Bridge, on hole 14 is now open for use. We extend our gratitude to Leigh Piper for his exceptional workmanship in completing the construction. This bridge serves as an essential pathway for players to navigate the course effectively. With its completion, golfers can now move effortlessly from one section of the course to another, enhancing the overall experience. We appreciate Leigh Piper’s dedication and skill in ensuring the timely completion and high quality of the bridge. It stands as a testament to the craftsmanship and attention to detail that went into its construction.

To show our gratitude to our hardworking staff, Laurieton United Services Club will be closed from 8pm on Sunday, December 1st for our Staff Christmas Party. The Boardwalk Bistro will also close at 7:30pm on the same day. We thank you for your understanding and anticipate your return the next day.
