The Ceremonial Raising of the State Pennant Flag, won by the Mens Division 4 team, was attended by a number of dignitaries and club members. It was fantastic to celebrate the first ever State Title won by the club. The winning players included Chicka Thompson, Stewart Rogan, Ian Hodgkinson, Wayne Thrussell, Frank Raczka, Brett Irwin, Dave Jones, and Rocky Davis (absent), together with reserve Adrian Hilton and manager Gary Cheers. A special “Golden Bowl” Award was presented to Wayne Thrussell for his superb performances in the finals series.
