The Laurieton Vintage Motor Club is gearing up for their 2024 Show & Shine event at the Laurieton United Services Club this Father’s Day. Scheduled for Sunday, 1st September 2024, the general entry to the event will be from 10am to 2pm with a simple gold coin donation for entry. Established in 2016, the Laurieton Vintage Motor Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of vintage motor vehicles. The club provides a friendly and social atmosphere for enthusiasts to come together and share their passion for classic cars and motorcycles. At the upcoming Show & Shine, visitors can expect to see around 80 classic cars and motorcycles on static display, showcasing the diverse range of vintage vehicles from various car clubs and the wider community. There will be trophies awarded in nine different categories, adding a competitive edge to the event. In addition to the impressive display of vehicles, the event will feature a BBQ managed by members of The Laurieton Men’s Shed, a local charity group. The Laurieton United Services Club also offers a cafe serving excellent coffee, light meals, and cakes, as well as a bistro with quality lunches for attendees to enjoy.
