Celebrating Head Chef Heshan’s Australian Permanent Residency

A Special Milestone for One of Our Own

There are moments that remind you a workplace can become so much more than just a place of employment. It becomes a place where friendships are formed, milestones are celebrated, and people truly become family. At Laurieton United Services Club, we recently had the privilege of celebrating one of those moments with our very own Head Chef, Heshan, as he officially received his Australian Permanent Residency.

From the day Heshan joined the LUSC family, he has brought so much more than exceptional culinary talent to our club. His unwavering work ethic, kindness, loyalty and genuine care for those around him have made a lasting impact on our staff, members and guests alike. His infectious smile and positive attitude brighten every day, and we are incredibly fortunate to have him as part of our team.

A Dream Become Reality

Obtaining Permanent Residency is no small achievement. It represents years of dedication, resilience, sacrifice and determination, and we couldn’t be prouder to see Heshan’s dream become a reality. The celebration was made even more special with the company of his wife, Thilini, who is currently visiting, as they begin this exciting new chapter together.

At LUSC, we often say we’re more than just a club – we’re a community. Watching Heshan’s journey over the years has been a wonderful reminder of exactly that. What begins as colleagues can grow into lifelong friendships, and celebrating milestones like this together is something we will always cherish.
