2024 Laurieton RSL Vietnam Vets Day
On 18th August, Laurieton RSL remembers the Battle of Long Tan in 1966, a crucial event for Australian troops in the Vietnam War. This day holds special significance as it commemorates the bravery and sacrifices of the veterans who fought in this historic battle.
Laurieton RSL joins the nation in celebrating Vietnam Veterans Day, recognizing the courage and dedication of those who served during the Vietnam War. It is a time for reflection and gratitude towards the veterans in our community.
As we remember the Battle of Long Tan and the veterans of the Vietnam War, the Board of Directors, Management, and Staff of Laurieton RSL pay tribute to their service and honor their contributions to our country. Through their sacrifices, these brave individuals have left a lasting legacy that will never be forgotten.
We stand in solidarity with all veterans, acknowledging their service and sacrifice on this important day. Let us take a moment to thank and remember all those who have served our country with courage and honor, especially our Vietnam War veterans, on this Vietnam Veterans Day.
